Innofiber is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our team and help grow the sales function for Fiber Optic solutions! An ideal candidate will have experience working with a highly technical team to sell custom engineering solutions. Job Description:
As the Sales Executive/Business Development for Innofiber, you will be in a pivotal role, driving not only new business growth but also strategic growth and management of current customer accounts. This position focuses on managing and growing the existing business to align performance with business objectives. You will cultivate strong customer partnerships and develop and implement strategies for market growth.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Continue to identify and secure new business opportunities within the targeted medical market through strategic analysis and industry insights.
- Foster relationships with key OEM customers, negotiate contracts, and ensure mutual profitability and satisfaction.
Strategic and Account Planning:
- Develop and implement account plans to drive revenue and market share growth.
Value Proposition and Marketing:
- Partner with marketing teams to refine messaging and develop compelling materials that effectively communicate the value of our fiber optic solutions.
- Representing the company at trade shows and industry events, expanding our brand presence.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve workflow and ensure smooth execution of strategies.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and business development, ideally within the fiber optic cable/solutions industry for the medical market.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams
- Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Demonstrated success in managing accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to develop OEM relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Expertise in sales of components for highly regulated medical devices, with a strong technical background and sales experience required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
